PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-in-water type emulsion cosmetic having high ultraviolet protection performance in both ultraviolet regions A and B, giving less stimulation to the skin due to no direct contact of an ultraviolet absorbent with the skin, no stain on clothing, excellent feeling in application to the skin and also excellent feeling in application to the skin despite containing a metal oxide pigment, preventing oiliness due to an oil-in-water type emulsion cosmetic and heavy feeling in application, and exhibiting excellent usability.SOLUTION: An oil-in-water type emulsion cosmetic contains a microcapsule comprising UVA and UVB absorbents having a polymer of organopolysiloxane and silylated peptide as a wall film, and one or more metal oxide pigments selected from zinc oxides and titanium dioxides. It is preferable that the content of the UVA absorbent is in the range of 1 to 20 mass%, the content of the UVB absorbent is in the range of 5 to 30 mass% and the content of the metal oxide pigment is in the range of 1 to 30 mass%, in the oil-in-water type emulsion cosmetic.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】 紫外線A領域に対してもB領域に対しても紫外線防御能が高く、しかも紫外線吸収剤が直接肌に触れることがないため肌への刺激が少なく、衣服を汚染することもなく、皮膚に塗布する際の感触に優れ、また、金属酸化物顔料を含有するにも関わらず皮膚に塗布する際の感触に優れ、さらに、水中油型の乳化化粧料のため油っぽさや塗布時の重い感触がない使用性に優れた水中油型乳化化粧料を提供する。【解決手段】 オルガノポリシロキサンとシリル化ペプチドの重合物を壁膜とするUVA吸収剤とUVB吸収剤を内包するマイクロカプセルと、酸化亜鉛および二酸化チタンから選ばれる1種以上の金属酸化物顔料を含有させて水中油型乳化化粧料を構成する。水中油型乳化化粧料中でのUVA吸収剤の含有量は1~20質量%、UVB吸収剤の含有量が5~30質量%、金属酸化物顔料の含有量が1~30質量%の範囲になるようにするのが好ましい。【選択図】なし
