The present invention relates to a skin whitening composition containing amorphigeni or salt thereof as an active ingredient. The amorphigeni of the present invention inhibits the expression of tyrosinase, and induces the autophagy of melanosome. Accordingly, it has been confirmed that the amorphigeni of the present invention not only inhibits the generation of melanin but also removes melanin pre-generated by melanocyte-stimulating hormone (-MSH). Thus, the amorphigeni of the present invention can be useful as a functional material for whitening and lightening skin.본 발명은 아모르피제니(amorphigeni) 또는 이의 염을 유효성분으로 함유하는 피부 미백용 조성물에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 아모르피제니(amorphigeni)는 티로시나아제(tyrosinase)의 발현을 억제하며, 멜라소좀(melasosome)의 자가소화작용(autophagy)을 유도하므로, 본 발명의 아모르피제니(amorphigeni)가 멜라닌 생성을 억제할 뿐만 아니라, α-MSH(melanocyte-stimulating hormone)에 의해 기생성된 멜라닌을 제거하는 효과까지 나타내는 것을 확인하였다. 따라서 본 발명의 아모르피제니(amorphigeni)는 피부 화이트닝 및 라이트닝을 위한 기능성 소재로 유용하게 사용될 수 있을 것이다.
