PURPOSE: A method for controlling a needle guide apparatus, and an ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus thereof are provided to insert accurately a needle into the body by using the information of an ultrasonic signal reflected from bodys tissues.CONSTITUTION: Target coordinates are set up within an object. The tip of a needle (200) is placed at the target coordinates. The position of a needle guide apparatus (120) is controlled by a control unit of an ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus. The needle guide apparatus is connected to a probe (110). The probe acquires an ultrasonic image of the object.
