This instrument Trans Orbital Retractor for Infra-Temporal fossa Access (TORITA) is designed for minimally invasive approach to infratemporal fossa through orbit. It has four components viz. three semi lunar orbital speculums of 1 to 3mm size (height) (figures 4,5,6) and a self-retaining retractor (figure 7) to retract the eyeball and hence identify the path for ITF access through IOF (figure 8). The inventor has used this clinically with no morbidity or side effects.
