The method involves obtaining a driver (18) with a sheath (20) made of polymeric material for covering the driver on a periphery and length. A detection/stimulation electrode is formed by a metal ring (22). A microcable is fixed in a central part (24) of the ring so as to grip the sheath between the ring and the microcable, and to push back insulating material in adjacent zones from a puncture zone of the sheath, where the remaining insulating material from the sheath is interposed between the microcable and the ring in areas (30) located on sides of the puncture zone of the sheath. The sheath comprises an electrically insulating polymer material selected from a group comprising polyurethanes, polyester, polyamides, polycarbonates, polyimides, fluoropolymers, polyether-ether-ketone, poly-p-xylylene, polymethyl methacrylate, PTFE, perfluorinated propylene, perfluoroalkoxy copolymer resin, tetrafluoroethylene, hexafluoropropylene, fluoride vinylidene, polyvinylidene fluoride, ethylene fluorinated ethylene propylene and ethylene tetrafluoroethylene.Cette sonde comprend un conducteur (18), une gaine (20) isolante et au moins une électrode de détection/stimulation électriquement reliée au conducteur, avec un diamètre externe de sonde au plus égal à 2 French (0,66 mm). Lélectrode est formée par une bague métallique (22) sertie sur ce microcâble dans une région essentiellement non dénudée de celui-ci. Dans la partie centrale (24) de la bague, sa face interne est en contact de liaison mécanique et électrique avec la surface du conducteur (18) en une zone de ponction de la gaine (28) où le matériau isolant est repoussé dans des zones (30) adjacentes. Dans les parties dextrémité (26) de la bague, sa face interne est en contact de liaison mécanique avec la surface de la gaine (20), avec interposition du matériau isolant de la gaine entre le conducteur (18) et la bague (22) dans des régions (30) situées de part et dautre de ladite une zone de ponction de la gaine.
