PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorber excellent in absorption quantity, the absorber being formed by fixing water absorptive resin powder to a backing material.SOLUTION: The absorber comprises a first base material, a second base material stacked on the first base material, and water absorptive resin powder disposed between the first base material and the second base material. The water absorptive resin powder is fixed to the first base material and/or the second base material by an adhesive agent of which penetration degree (JIS K 2235) is 10 or less. When the water absorptive resin powder is fixed using an adhesive agent with the penetration degree of 10 or less, the adhesive agent covering the water absorptive resin powder breaks easily by the swelling of the water absorptive resin powder. Thus the swelling of the water absorptive resin powder is not hindered by the adhesive agent, enabling the water absorptive resin powder to exhibit its absorption performance to the full extent.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】吸水性樹脂粉末を基材に固着してなる吸収体において、吸収量に優れた吸収体を提供する。【解決手段】吸収体は、第1基材と、この第1基材に積層された第2基材と、これらの第1基材と第2基材との間に配置された吸水性樹脂粉末とを有し、前記吸水性樹脂粉末が、針入度(JIS K 2235)が10以下である固着剤によって、前記第1基材および/または第2基材に固着されていることを特徴とする。針入度が10以下の固着剤を用いて吸水性樹脂粉末を固着させた場合、吸水性樹脂粉末の膨潤によって吸水性樹脂粉末を被覆する固着剤は容易に破断する。そのため、吸水性樹脂粉末の膨潤が固着剤に阻害されることがなく、吸水性樹脂粉末はその吸収性能を十分に発揮できる。【選択図】図1
