PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester capable of preventing culm reaped from residual culm from being accumulated in a gap formed between an end portion of a reaping blade body slide mechanism and a support.SOLUTION: A sub reaping blade device includes: a stationary-side reaping blade body extending in the left/right direction, erected across tip ends of a pair of left/right support arms that are formed by extending forward from a traveling machine body and a movable-side reaping blade body extending in the left/right direction, superposedly disposed on the stationary-side reaping blade body so as to reciprocatingly slide in the left/right direction, where one side of the movable-side reaping blade body is interlockedly coupled with a motor part provided in the traveling machine body, via the reaping blade body slide mechanism. One of the support arms includes, at the tip thereof, a support body for supporting a halfway portion of the reaping blade body slide mechanism, and, at a portion just in front of the support body, the end portion of the reaping blade body slide mechanism is horizontally reciprocatingly disposed. The end portion of the reaping blade body slide mechanism includes a culm lateral transfer body that feeds the reaped culm in one direction of the left/right direction of the traveling machine body.【課題】刈刃体摺動機構の終端部と支持体との間に形成された間隙に、残稈から刈られた茎稈が滞留するのを防止することができるコンバインを提供すること。【解決手段】副刈刃装置は、走行機体から前方へ伸延させて形成した左右一対の支持アームの先端部間に、左右方向に伸延する固定側刈刃体を架設し、固定側刈刃体上には左右方向に伸延する可動側刈刃体を左右方向へ往復摺動自在に重合させて配置し、走行機体に設けた原動機部に刈刃体摺動機構を介して可動側刈刃体の一側部を連動連結して構成し、一方の支持アームの先端部には刈刃体摺動機構の中途部を支持する支持体を設け、支持体の直前方位置に刈刃体摺動機構の終端部を左右方向に往復作動可能に配置して、刈刃体摺動機構の終端部に刈った茎稈を走行機体の左右方向のいずれか一方向に送り出すための茎稈横送り体を設けたことを特徴とする。【選択図】図3
