Its subject is a product for decorating savoury or sweet culinary preparations, it being possible for the said decorative product to be manufactured separately from the preparation, and principally characterised in that the said decorative product has the form of a film of an edible substance including decorations 2 which are themselves edible; the film advantageously consists of at least one of the materials from the group of materials comprising communion wafers, almond paste, chocolate and gelatine; the decoration is advantageously produced by spraying an edible "ink". <IMAGE>
