PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a poor drivability problem of a combine harvester caused by performing slow traveling operation and reaping drive operation at the same time in the case of entering into a field.SOLUTION: A reaping apparatus is driven at a variable speed with a dedicated hydrostatic continuously variable transmission 21 for reaping and transportation to increase and decrease rotational speed synchronously with traveling speed. A hydrostatic continuously variable transmission 20 for traveling has a construction to be accelerated or decelerated according to the extent of tilting operation of a main shift lever 70 by detecting the operation position of the main shift lever 70 by an operating position detection means 71 and controlling the speed of the hydrostatic continuously variable transmission 20 for traveling by the signal of the detection means. A neutral zone T having a prescribed width is formed at an operation position in an operation groove 72 of the main shift lever 70 between the forward moving side and backward moving side of the machine body. Drive of the reaping apparatus 4 by the hydrostatic continuously variable transmission 21 for reaping and transportation is started when the main shift lever 70 is positioned at a prescribed position T at a backward moving side relative to the intermediate position of the neutral zone T and vehicle speed pulses detected by the start of traveling motion of the traveling apparatus 3 are detected for a prescribed time or longer by a detection part 73.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】圃場進入時、微速走行操作と刈取駆動操作とを同時に行うので、操作性が悪い。【解決手段】走行速度に同調して回転速度を増減させる専用の刈取搬送用静油圧式無段変速装置21により変速駆動する。走行用静油圧式無段変速装置20は、主変速レバー70の操作位置を操作位置検出手段71により検出し、この信号により走行用静油圧式無段変速装置20を変速制御して主変速レバー70の傾倒操作量に応じて増減速する構成とし、主変速レバー70の操作溝72の機体の前進側と後進側との間の操作位置に所定幅の中立域Tを設け、該中立域Tの中間位置よりも後進側の所定位置T’に前記主変速レバー70が位置し、前記走行装置3の走行開始によって検出される車速パルスを検出部73が所定時間以上検出すると、前記刈取搬送用静油圧式無段変速装置21による刈取装置4の駆動を開始する構成としたことを特徴とするコンバイン。【選択図】図4
