[Problem] To provide a hemostatic instrument which, without the use of a specialized instrument separate from the hemostatic instrument, makes it possible to reduce and adjust pressure of an expanding unit with a simple operation. [Solution] This hemostatic instrument 10 is provided with: a strap 20 to be wrapped around a puncture site P on the wrist W； a fixing means 30 for fixing the strap in a state wrapped around the wrist； an expanding unit 40 which is linked to the strap and expands with injection of air； a tubular body 60 which allows communication between an expanding space 40a of the expanding unit and the outside； and a cover 70 which covers the tube body inside of the expanding unit.
