PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging method capable of delivering fresh live fishes to consumers by drastically improving the life time of the fishes through removal of excessive stresses and burdens on the fishes.SOLUTION: An airtight bag 6 such as a vinyl bag is provided inside a container body 2. A cradle 3 for partitioning the intermediate part in the height direction of the container body 2 is placed and fixed in the bag 6. A dorsal fin h or a portion around the dorsal fin of a fish S whose vitality and internal body temperature are reduced is put through a through-hole 5 formed in the cradle 3, and the fish S is accommodated with the abdomen turned up. After that, oxygen is supplied inside the bag 6 and a mouth of the bag 6 is tied.
