The invention relates to a thermographic device and process for localization of early breast tumours, with application in medicine, in particular in oncology. According to the invention, the device consists of a brassiere having two rigid cups having sizes adapted to a patients breast, on which some thermal detectors with sensibility to temperatures of about 37°C and measuring errors of less than 0.05°C are placed, the thermal detectors being symmetrically arranged on the two cups, so that the difference between the temperatures measured by each pair of detectors can be determined, a data acquisition board registering the measured temperatures and transmitting them to a data storage device. The process, as claimed by the invention, consists in measuring the temperatures at the surface of a patients breast, using a temperature detectors network, after which the difference between the temperatures of the affected breast and the healthy breast is determined and, starting from the preset difference field, a reversed thermal field problem is solved as a relatively accurate determination of the position of the breast point where cancer cells have been developed.Invenţia se referă la un dispozitiv şi la un procedeu termografic pentru localizarea tumorilor de sân timpurii, cu aplicaţii în medicină, în special în oncologie. Dispozitivul conform invenţiei este format dintr-un sutien având două cupe rigide, de dimensiuni adaptate sânului unui pacient, pe care sunt plasaţi nişte termosenzori sensibili, în jurul temperaturii de 37°C, cu erori de măsurare sub 0,05°C, dispunerea senzorilor termici pe cele două cupe fiind simetrică, astfel încât se pot determina diferenţele temperaturilor măsurate de fiecare pereche de senzori, iar o placă de achiziţii de date înregistrează temperaturile măsurate şi le transmite unui dispozitiv de memorare a datelor.
