Beehive has rectangular frames into, which frames are inserted which have rows of teeth around edge, first pair acting as support for brood cell frame and second pair used to support honeycomb frame
The beehive has rectangular frames with a peripheral upper lip. This allows frames to be inserted which have rows of teeth. Two of these (1, 2) act as a support for a brood cell frame. A second set (3, 4), at right angles to the first set, are wider spaced and can be used to support a honeycomb frame.
