The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a silver nanowire aqueous dispersion in which problems presented conventionally are resolved, sedimentation of silver nanowires is prevented from readily occurring and aggregates that cannot be readily re-dispersed are prevented from readily forming in a system in which the silver nanowires are combined in an aqueous dispersion medium, and stable storage is possible for a long period; and a method for manufacturing the silver nanowire aqueous dispersion. A silver nanowire aqueous dispersion characterized in containing silver nanowires (a), a polysaccharide and/or a derivative thereof (b), and a positively charged ionic polymer (c) exhibiting a positive streaming potential at pH4 to pH8.
