The device has an optical sensor, which is assigned to detect corpuscles and matches a measuring space that is arranged in a supply line (8), and is pneumatically acted. The light passage is interrupted between a light emitter and a light detector of the sensors. A constriction of the supply line is also provided immediately before the measuring space. The diameter is reduced to 0.5-5 millimeter on a section smaller than 10 millimeter by narrowing of the supply line.
