The closing unit comprises a door (13) mounted at a first end of a bracket (12). The bracket other end is pivoted about a pivoting axis (11) relative to an arm (7) itself tipping about a tipping axis (5) of a support structure (2) of a churn barrel (3) relative to a mounting chassis (1) of the support structure. A first stop (17) engages a support structure stop surface (18) when the support structure tips between a barrel loading position and a working position. A second stop (21) engages a chassis stop surface (19) when the support structure tips between the working position and an unloading position. An Independent claim is included for a churn with a closing unit.
