PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vegetable sterilizer reliably preventing leakage of ozone gas to the outside while inhibiting elimination of ozone gas, and a method for producing sterilized vegetables.SOLUTION: A vegetable sterilizer 100 includes a sterilization tank 3 for sterilizing vegetables V by soaking in ozone water, and has an airtight block 30 above the ozone water accumulated in the sterilization tank 3.
