PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice transplanter allowing for a small-sized and lightweight seedling feed case functioning to change the seedling feed speed for a seedling stand. SOLUTION: This rice transplanter includes a planting frame 20 for driving a seedling planting tine 17 and a seedling feed case 59 set up on left or right one side of the planting frame 20 and functioning to drive a seedling feed shaft 58, wherein the seedling feed case is formed in an approximately L-shaped fashion through being composed of a longitudinal case part 59a linked to the seedling feed shaft 58 and a transverse case part 59b linked to the planting frame 20, and a variable-speed mechanism 64 for seedling feed is set on the longitudinal case part 59a, while a changeover mechanism 131 for the variable- speed mechanism 64 on the transverse case part 59b.
