PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide artificial soil particles capable of effectively suppressing generation of algae, such as algal bloom.SOLUTION: An artificial soil particles 50 comprises: a cover layer 20 containing titanium oxide 6 having a function as an algaproof/antifungal agent and a base part 10 which is covered with a cover layer 20 and contains an antibiotic agent 7 comprising a different substance from the titanium oxide 6 as an active ingredient. The content of the titanium oxide 6 is 0.01 to 10 wt%. The antibiotic agent 7 comprises an inorganic substance having silver ion or zeolite having antibiotic property. The base part 10 is consisted by assembling a plurality of fillers 1 comprising narrow holes 2 of sub nm order to sub nm order.
