PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibacterial artificial soil particle which is obtained by considering the relationship between an artificial soil particle and an antibacterial agent used in it to allow the antibacterial agent to effectively exert antibacterial activity.SOLUTION: An antibacterial artificial soil particle 50 (51, 52, 53) has a fiber lump-like body 11 into which a plurality of fibers 1 are aggregated and contains a quaternary ammonium salt 6 as an active ingredient. Alternatively, an antibacterial artificial soil particle 50 (54) has a filler mass 12 into which a plurality of fillers 3 having a pore 4 are aggregated and contains a quaternary ammonium salt 6 as an active ingredient.
