PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antimicrobial composition which, for a purpose of making a wide area such as a western style toilet seat and the like, does not decompose toilet paper when cleaning and can produce antimicrobial activity with a minimum amount of a quaternary ammonium salt.SOLUTION: Provided is a foamy antimicrobial composition comprising the following (A), (B), and (C): (A), chitosan (B) 0.001 to 0.10 mass% of a quaternary ammonium salt and (C) 10 to 30 mass% of alcohols.
