PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood purifying device certainly preventing the blood concentration detecting means from errors of mounting to the arterial or intravenous side blood circuit and simultaneously and automatically determining which of the arterial and intravenous side blood circuits is mounted with the blood concentration detecting means, and to provide a determining method of the mounting position of the blood concentration detecting means.
SOLUTION: The blood purifying device is equipped with a dialyzer 2 which is connected between the arterial side blood circuit 1a and the intravenous side blood circuit 1b to purify the blood circulating extracorporeally, a blood pump 3, a blood concentration detecting means 5a and 5b for detecting the concentration of blood flowing in the blood circuit 1, and it has a determining means 9 determining which of the arterial side blood circuit 1a and the intravenous side blood circuits 1b is mounted with the blood concentration detecting means 5a, 5b from the variation timing of the blood concentration detected by the blood concentration detecting means in driving the blood pump 3.
