Provided is an iron ion supply material which can supply dissolved iron, which is easily absorbed by plants, to water and/or soil over a long period of time. The aforementioned material comprises A) a substance containing an iron oxide and/or metallic iron (includes cases in which substances contain only iron oxide and/or metallic iron), and B) one or more organic acids selected from among gluconic acid and glutamic acid.
