PURPOSE: A production method of Vitex rotundifolia tea is provided to offer a sedation effect, an analgetic effect, an antifebrile effect, a headache relieving effect, and a splanchnic circulation promotion effect. CONSTITUTION: Soft Vitex rotundifolia leaves are collected after morning dew is dried. 10 wt% of moisture is removed from the Vitex rotundifolia leaves by drying the Vitex rotundifolia leaves indoor for 8-12 hours. The withered Vitex rotundifolia leaves are roasted in a caldron at a sensory temperature of 35-45°C. The roasted Vitex rotundifolia leaves are rolled for facilitating the steeping and the fermentation. Microorganisms are injected to the rolled Vitex rotundifolia leaves for firstly fermenting the Vitex rotundifolia leaves in an earthenware jar for 7 days. 10 wt% of alcohol is sprayed to the firstly fermented Vitex rotundifolia leaves.
