The tool has two separate abrasive regions, where one region is of circular shape to form a coarse hole (Oi, Of) in a blank, where diameter of the region ranges between 1mm and 25mm. A polishing and abrasive region (4) is fine grained to complete drilling of the coarse hole. The two separate abrasive regions are provided in a cylindrical oblong body (2). A set of internal lubrication channels is placed in the body, where the channels emerge on surface of the abrasive regions. An independent claim is also included for a method for drilling a hole in a workpiece.
