PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging device in which various regions can be easily set.SOLUTION: The magnetic resonance imaging device comprises a sequence control unit, an image generation unit, and a deriving unit. The sequence control unit performs first imaging for collecting data of a region including a target organ by controlling execution of a pulse sequence, and second imaging for collecting data for diagnostic images. The image generation unit generates images by using the data collected by the first imaging.
