PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a riding type lawn mowing vehicle, in which right and left wheels are independently driven by a motor, and which may easily avoid collision to an obstacle target upon rapid pivot to rear side.SOLUTION: A riding type lawn mowing vehicle 10 comprises a drive source, a left wheel 12, a right wheel 13, a transmission which may receive driving power from the drive source to independently drive the left wheel and the right wheel with respect to a rotating direction and rotation speed, caster wheels 15, 16 arranged away from the left wheel 12 and the right wheel 13 in a forth and back direction, and a lawn mower 18, in which rapid pivot may realized, where one of the left wheel and the right wheel may rotate on rotation center position 70 or the left wheel and the right wheel rotate in an opposite direction, and which comprises first sensors 50a, 50b which are arranged on the vehicle and capable of detecting an obstacle target at rear side and a controlling apparatus stopping to rapid pivot to rear side or maintaining stop of the rapid pivot when the obstacle target is detected by the first sensor 50a, 50b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2【課題】乗用型芝刈車両において、左右車輪をモータにより独立に走行駆動する構成において、後方への急旋回時に障害対象への衝突を自動で回避しやすい構成を実現することである。【解決手段】乗用型芝刈車両10は、駆動源と、左車輪12及び右車輪13と、駆動源からの動力を受けて左車輪及び右車輪を、回転方向及び回転速度についてそれぞれ独立して駆動可能に構成したトランスミッションと、左車輪12及び右車輪13に対し前後方向に離れて設けられたキャスタ輪15,16と、芝刈機18とを含み、旋回中心位置70の回りに、左車輪と右車輪との一方のみが回転するか、または左車輪と右車輪とが逆方向に回転する急旋回が可能であり、車両に配置され、後側にある障害対象を検知可能な第1センサ50a、50bと、第1センサ50a、50bで障害対象が検知されたときに、後方への急旋回を停止または急旋回停止を維持させる制御装置とを含む。【選択図】図2
