The invention relates to a matrix for dissolving comprising a functional compound as well as to a method of preparing and using such a matrix. The invention also relates to a method of preparing a product comprising a functional compound as well as to the use of such a product. The matrix has been provided with at least one functional compound, and at least one solvent dissolving the functional compound, and at least one film-forming agent, wherein said solvent dissolving the functional compound also homogenizing the film-forming agent into the matrix.
