The first pressing part has a first surface and a second surface facing the first surface. The second pressing part has a third surface. When a probe body is covered with a cover, the fixing part crimps the cover between the notch face of a notch of the probe body and the first surface of the first pressing part and fixes the first and second pressing parts onto the probe body in a state in which the second surface of the first pressing part is brought in contact with the third surface of the second pressing part. A guide groove for guiding a puncture needle is formed at least either on the second surface of the first pressing part or the first surface of the second pressing part.【課題】プローブカバーを装着した場合に、超音波有効面積に与える影響を抑えること。【解決手段】実施形態の穿刺アダプタは、第１の押さえ部と、第２の押さえ部と、固定部とを備える。第１の押さえ部は、第１の表面と当該第１の表面に対向する面である第２の表面とを有する。第２の押さえ部は、第３の表面を有する。固定部は、プローブ本体がカバーで覆われた際に、プローブ本体の切欠部の切欠面と第１の押さえ部の第１の表面との間にカバーを挟み、第１の押さえ部の第２の表面に第２の押さえ部の第３の表面を接触させた状態で、プローブ本体に第１の押さえ部及び第２の押さえ部を固定する。また、第１の押さえ部の第２の表面又は第２の押さえ部の第３の表面の少なくとも一方に、穿刺針をガイドするためのガイド溝が形成される。【選択図】図３Ａ
