PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathing device capable of moving up or down a bather in a sitting posture by winding or unwinding of a flexible member such as a belt, hence minimizing physical burden on the bather when moving up or down.SOLUTION: A bathing device 1 includes: a flexible member 11 disposed so as to bridge two side walls of a bathtub facing each other a driving section 13 for winding and unwinding the flexible member 11 and a seat surface part 14 disposed on the flexible member 11.
