PURPOSE: A solid dispersion containing 20-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-20(S)-protopanaxadiol and saturated polyglycolated glyceride is provided. CONSTITUTION: A solid dispersion contains 20-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-20(S)-protopanaxadio as a pharmacologically active ingredient and saturated polyglycosylated glyceride as a lipid matrix. The saturated polyglycolated glyceride is a mixture of mono-, di- and tri-glyceride and polyethylene glyceride and mono- and di-ester of polyethylene glycol. The solid dispersion is a capsule. A pharmaceutical formulation contains the solid dispersion and pharmaceutically acceptable additive.
