The purpose of this invention is to control the influence of irregular period of menstruation on the accuracy of prediction even under a wide irregular circumstance and predict the expected date of menstruation. The information processing apparatus determines a threshold value to be used in a prediction for a menstruation period, in which the determination is made based on a comparison outcome between a representative value of a reference period and a base period, wherein the representative value of a reference period is derived from a plurality of substitutes for threshold value of unmet value wherein each substitute has been modified. In another embodiment, the information processing apparatus predicts the number of days of menstruation period based on historical menstruation periods, in which the prediction is made by removing a first unmet value specified by a first threshold value, and then change a second unmet value specified by a second threshold value into a number of days corresponding to the second threshold value.本發明之目的,係在於就算是當月經週期之參差為大的情況時亦能夠對於預測精確度之降低作抑制並預測生理日。資訊處理裝置,係根據基於不符值的臨限值之複數之候補的每一者而作了修正的複數之參考週期之代表值、和基準週期,此兩者間之比較結果,而決定被使用在月經週期之預測中的臨限值。或者是,資訊處理裝置,係從過去之複數之月經週期中,將藉由第1臨限值所特定出的第1不符值除去,並將藉由第2臨限值所特定出之第2不符值變更為與第2臨限值相對應的天數,而對於月經週期之天數作預測。
