PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biodegradable film for agriculture, capable of being easily formed and processed, having both of biodegradability and usable mechanical strength, and further to provide a biodegradable film for the agriculture having adequate slipperiness of the films between each other besides the above properties and hardly causing blocking, and a biodegradable film for the agriculture having excellent weather resistance besides the above properties. SOLUTION: The biodegradable film for the agriculture is characterized in that a polyester resin synthesized from 100 mol% mixture comprising 35-95 mol% adipic acid or an ester-forming derivative thereof, 5-65 mol% terephthalic acid or an ester-forming derivative thereof, and 0-5 mol% sulfonate-containing compound, 67-250 mol% dihydroxy compound and 0.01-5 mol% organic compound having at least three ester-forming groups is formed into a film shape having 0.01-0.05 mm thickness.
