The method comprises the steps of providing of process data indicating an expected continuous course of the blood glucose value of a user, in the calculation unit based on blood glucose measuring values from continuous blood glucose measurement, generating of user-specific measuring routine data, which indicate a measuring routine with user-specific measuring events for discontinuous blood glucose measurement with a blood glucose meter taking into account the process data by means of the calculation unit, and providing of the user-specific measuring routine data to the data output interface for data transmission.
