A material processing facility according to the present invention comprises: a plurality of carriages, each of which has first and second granules charged therein, the first granules being materials for producing reduced iron and the second granules being materials for producing sintered ore and being located on the first granules, wherein the carriages are able to move to a material processing section that includes a sintering section for sintering the second granules and a reduction section for reducing the first granules, the reduction section being located behind the sintering section; an ignition furnace installed on a path along which the plurality of carriages move to the material processing section and directing flames toward the surface layer of the second granules; a plurality of wind boxes arranged below the plurality of carriages in the direction in which the plurality of carriages move and providing an attractive force to each of the plurality of carriages; and an atmosphere producing unit locate
