PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid cosmetic on which highly appealing characters or patterns can be formed.SOLUTION: The solid cosmetic has an adhesive layer formed in the shape of characters or patterns with an adhesive, a holding member 1 for holding the adhesive layer, and a cosmetic layer 2 formed by stacking a cosmetic material and solidified on one surface of the holding member so as to cover a part or the whole of the adhesive layer. The adhesive layer has one or more layers. When two or more adhesive layers are stacked, it is preferred that the adhesive be applied so as to overlap a part of one surface of the adhesive layer, or the adhesive be applied in a prescribed area which is smaller than the one surface.
