The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating cancer comprising a triazolopyridine derivative or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient. The triazolopyridine derivative inhibits the activity of tankyrase enzyme and inhibits the expression of β-catenin, which is a tumor factor, to increase cancer cell death by apoptosis. When applied in combination with an anticancer agent or irradiation, excellent reduction of cell survival rate is exhibited. Accordingly, the triazolopyridine derivative may be useful as a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating cancer, a composition for promoting radiation therapy, or a health functional food for cancer prevention or alleviation.본 발명은 트리아졸로피리딘계 유도체 또는 이의 약제학적으로 허용가능한 염을 유효성분으로 함유하는 암 예방 또는 치료용 조성물에 관한 것으로, 상기 트리아졸로피리딘계 유도체는 탄키라제 효소 활성을 저해하여 종양 인자인 β-카테닌(β-catenin) 발현을 억제시킴으로써 세포자살(apoptosis)에 의한 암세포 사멸을 증가시키며, 항암제 또는 방사선 조사와 병용 적용할 경우, 우수한 세포 생존율 감소가 나타남에 따라, 상기 트리아졸로피리딘계 유도체는 암 예방 및 치료용 약학조성물, 방사선 치료 효과 증진용 조성물 또는, 암 예방 및 개선용 건강기능식품으로 유용하게 활용될 수 있다.
