PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a straining machine which prevents quality degradation of fruit paste when straining food raw materials such as steamed chestnuts or sweet potatoes into the fruit paste, improves yield in fruit paste collection, and facilitates removal of peels and cleaning of a machine.SOLUTION: The straining machine of food material includes: a cylindrical straining drum 1 including many through holes 2 in an outer peripheral face and opening faces on both edges a first pressing roller 15 pressed on the outer peripheral face of the straining drum 1, the cylindrical straining drum 1 and first pressing roller 15 capable of rotating a second pressing roller 28 rotating at a higher peripheral speed than a peripheral speed on the outer peripheral face of the straining drum 1 in contact with the outer peripheral face of the straining drum 1 and a food input port 52 above a contact face of the straining drum 1 and the first pressing roller 15.
