PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the fatigue state of a driver in a simple and low-cost method.SOLUTION: In a block 301, a torque value indicating the amount of torque that a driver is applying on a steering wheel is obtained. Then in a block 302, whether or not the torque value contains shaking variations is checked. If the torque value contains shaking variations, it is determined that driver fatigue has been detected in the block 303.
