A non-tea-based, packaged beverage with a green tea extract mixed therein contains the following ingredients (A) and (B): (A) 0.06 to 0.5 wt. % of non-polymer catechins, and (B) 9 to 13.5 mM of citric acid or a salt thereof. Its pH is from 3.4 to 4.2. The non-tea-based, packaged beverage contains catechins at a high concentration, is reduced in bitterness and astringency, is suited for long-term drinking, and is excellent in the stability of bitterness and astringency and also in the feeling as it passes down the throat, and moreover, its color tone remains stable over a long term even when packed in a clear package and stored at high temperatures.본 발명은 녹차 추출물을 배합한 용기포장 음료이며, 다음의 성분 (A) 및 (B),(A) 비중합체 카테킨류 0.06~0.5중량%,(B) 구연산 또는 그 염 9~13.5mM를 함유하고, pH가 3.4~4.2인 비차계(non-tea-based) 용기포장 음료에 관한 것이다.본 발명의 용기포장 음료는 고농도의 카테킨류를 함유하고, 쓴맛, 떫은맛이 저감되어 장기간의 음용에 적합하고, 쓴맛, 떫은맛의 안정성 및 목넘김이 뛰어나며, 또한 투명 용기에 충전해서 고온 보존해도 장기간 색조가 안정된다.
