A composition and a process for straightening hair are disclosed. The process includes coating keratin fibers with a composition comprising a thermally-activated agent and a guanidine moiety containing adjuvant compound and contacting the coated keratin fibers with a heating device at a temperature of at least 185C for sufficient time to modify the keratin fibers.Cette invention concerne une composition et un procédé de défrisage des cheveux. Le procédé comprend lapplication sur les fibres de kératine dune composition comprenant un agent thermo-activé et un composé adjuvant contenant un fragment de guanidine et la mise en contact des fibres de kératine revêtues avec un dispositif chauffant à une température dau moins 185°C pendant un temps suffisant pour modifier les fibres de kératine.
