PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod capable of keeping a support leg from projecting from the rod when waiting for the strike of a fish so as to wait for the strike of the fish with a tip end of the rod being lowered, meanwhile, capable of simply resetting the rod in a state with the tip end lifted by the support leg by lifting the rod at the strike of the fish.SOLUTION: Support legs 12, 12 for supporting the fishing rod 1 are rotatably mounted on the fishing rod 1.
