PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sufficient tooth brushing effect, to provide a brush part at low cost and to facilitate washing inside the brush part when functioning as an ion toothbrush.SOLUTION: The toothbrush has a body 10 on which a hand-side electrode 15 is mounted and exposed outside, a mounting leg part 20 which has a narrow shape extending from an end of the body 10 and on which a brush-side electrode 31 is mounted on an end, and the brush part 30 removably fitted on the outer periphery of the mounting leg part 20. The brush-side electrode 31 has a projection 31a projecting laterally from the outer peripheral face of the end of the mounting leg part 20. A through-hole 81 is formed in a side face of an end of the brush part 30.
