An image processing apparatus includes a data collection unit for collecting image data from a target part, a navigator unit for collecting operation information of an object by tracing an operation of an operating part, and a data processing unit for acquiring K-space data for a K-space from the image data. The data processing unit allows the K-space data for some areas of the K-space to be acquired from the image data when the operation information corresponds to a K-space data acquisition range, and allows the K-space data for the other areas of the K-space to be acquired from the image data regardless of the K-space data acquisition range.
