PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for generating a wide range of image data maintaining better continuity by collecting image data respectively in different positions with the movement of a bed and connecting the image data.SOLUTION: This magnetic resonance imaging apparatus includes an image data collecting means collecting image data sets each composed of a plurality of image data at the different positions by moving the bed, and an image processing means for generating image data for a display by carrying out image processing including connection processing to a plurality of image data sets corresponding to the different positions.
