PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking tiller allowing the improvement of operability in traveling.
SOLUTION: The tiller 1 including an engine 6 installed on a machine body frame 2, and a tilling shaft 10 installed sideways in right and left directions below the machine body frame 2, linked with the engine 6 as jointly moving and attaching tilling claws 11, is provided with a mounting member 30 at respective end parts of right and left of the tilling shaft 10 and constituting traveling wheels 20 as to be switched between a state not capable of rotatable relative to and a state capable of rotatable relative to the tilling shaft 10 by the mounting members 30.
