In certain embodiments, a first milking box having a first robotic attacher that is operable to extend between the rear legs of a first dairy livestock within a stall of the first milking box in order to attach milking equipment to the first dairy livestock is described. A second milking box positioned front-to-back with the first milking box and having a second robotic attacher. The second robotic attacher operable to extend between the rear legs of a second dairy livestock within a stall of the second milking box in order to attach milking equipment to the second dairy livestock.
