It is proposed the use of at least one alkyl-phthalide or a plant extract comprising, for the cosmetic topical treatment of weakened nails, mainly comprising, for the cosmetic topical treatment. According to the invention, it is possible to use in particular a supercritical CO2 extract of seeds of Apium graveolens mainly comprising sedanenolide. Il est proposé l'utilisation d'au moins un alkyl-phthalide ou d'un extrait de plante en comprenant majoritairement, pour le traitement topique cosmétique des ongles fragilisés. Selon l'invention, on peut utiliser notamment un extrait CO2 supercritique de graines d'Apium graveolens comprenant majoritairement du sédanénolide.
