It is proposed the use of at least one alkyl-phthalide or a plant extract comprising, for the most part, a topical cosmetic slimming treatment. According to the invention, it is possible to use in particular a supercritical CO2 extract of seeds of Apium graveolens mainly comprising sedanenolide. Il est proposé l'utilisation d'au moins un alkyl-phthalide ou d'un extrait de plante en comprenant majoritairement, pour un traitement topique cosmétique amincissant. Selon l'invention, on peut utiliser notamment un extrait CO2 supercritique de graines d'Apium graveolens comprenant majoritairement du sédanénolide.
