PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical table capable of operating smoothly and stably at low cost in a medical device having a lifting device using a plurality of lifting blocks.SOLUTION: A medical device comprises a base 2 placed on a floor surface, a table 10 disposed above the base 2, and a lifting device 20 for raising and lowering the table 10. The lifting device 20 comprises: a fixed block 21 fitted to the base 2 a plurality of lifting blocks 26, 27 integrally provided in the fixed block 21 and combined so as to be raised and lowered in a vertical direction and a plurality of cylinder units 51A, 51B serially connected through flow paths 58, 59, for raising and lowering lifting blocks 26, 27 by hydraulic pressure of a hydraulic fluid supplied to the flow paths 58, 59.
